🌿 The Sunday Reset ~ January 19, 2025

Hi there and Happy Sunday!
This week didn’t go quite as planned (apparently the universe had other ideas) 🤪
Monday welcomed me with a headache that sidelined me for a whole day and lingered for dayssssss, and then my mom decided move a door jam with her face and to then test gravity 🤕—which scared the bejeezus out of me and Kai! Thankfully, she’s okay! Conveniently, we were literally on our way to meet her new doctor (how’s that for timing?), and she managed to land on the “best case scenario” spot. 🙌🏼
It’s been "a week" and I’m grateful everything turned out alright because it could have been a lot worse for sure! But I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm grateful for a new week to begin already 😅
So needless to say, I wasn't "as productive" as I wanted to be BUT we still got the "priority" things done ☑️ By the way... I'd said in last week's newsletter that you'd see a new video on my YouTube Channel ~ Charlani Everyday ~ sharing the BTS (behind-the-scenes) of creating dashboards and the new line coming at the end of the month BUUUTTTT... I'd forgotten that I'd filmed setting up my "2025 Planner" so I posted that - side note: adding YouTube videos to my Social Media Content planner RTFN 😉 Anyhow... THIS week will be a BTS Studio Vlog. I hope that's ok! 😬
Again... Happy Sunday! Let's hop in 🖤
Have you ever tuned into a podcast and felt your entire mood lift in seconds? 🙋🏻♀️ It’s amazing how pressing “play” on the right show can turn your day around, especially if you’re leaning into something specific or simply looking for a burst of positivity.
For me, personal development podcasts are like sitting down with a group of upbeat besties who keep me going when I need a little boost. My playlist is pretty eclectic—what I choose often depends on my mood and what I feel I need at that moment.
Check out my favorites below, and if you’ve got any must-listen shows, please hit “reply” and share them—I would LOVE to get a running list together with your suggestions as well and I'll share an updated list in next week’s newsletter!

I've decided that THIS YEAR... I'm keeping my set up SIMPLE! And what I mean by that is... no more trying new layouts. Over the last 12 months... I've tried several different layouts and SPOILER ALERT: I didn't love it... like at all! 😝
The truth is I got caught up in what "other planner companies" were doing and felt like I "needed" more options to offer. We have absolutely SCRATCHED that off the list... and we're sticking with the system I've used for literally decades. I need to be better about trusting my gut BUT I'm thankful for the experience of trying because it's given me pure clarity about what Live Happy Label represents and the direction we will move into going forward 🥰 And THAT feels freaking awesome!
I know you know... but I'm going to break down my foundational system anyways in case you need to also simplify and reorganize 😉 like me.
Then I will follow up those main tabs with "Mixed Notes" and "Task & Habit trackers! And voila... absolute planner perfection!
I will be keeping a separate binder for my Health & Fitness inserts...and that will live in my kitchen 👩🏻🍳 It seems to make most sense because the most important part of that planner is the meal planning and prepping ☑️

Before I sign off, I want to leave you with a little thought on the power of handwriting. There’s something magical about putting pen to paper—receiving a handwritten note or love letter just hits differently, doesn’t it?
My planner works the same way for me: she’s part organization tool, part personal cheerleader, and I treat her like a treasured friend I can rely on. In caring for her, I’m also caring for myself—reminding myself to stay focused, practice self-love, and trust that I’ve always got my own back.
After all, when you know how to take care of you, you’ll never be without a bestie in your corner.
My goal this week is to be better than I was last week and I'm hoping the same for you too!
