Hi, there! and Happy Sunday!
Welcome to FEBRUARY! Not only do I love a new month, but I love February because not only do we have Valentine's day and I get to tell my husband what to get me for it, but it's also my birthday month, so 2 gifts! 💞
A glimpse into our marriage:
Rob and I celebrated 30 (or is it 31 😬) years together on Jan 28th. We met in 1994, so whatever that is. I'm the best wife and he is LUCKY! 😅 because I make it SO EASY - this man hasn't had to "shop" for me in ages. I tell him what I want, remind him 589 times, and it magically shows up.
And even though it's not hard (IMO) to shop for me, he says I'm picky and he'd rather not waste either of our time - because he would overthink it and I'd likely prefer a different color/style and exchange it, which is then wasting my time. And I have to say... I can't even argue with that 😅, cuz he's not wrong AND that's great time management - my favorite thing 🥰
Full transparency... this week's Sunday Reset... short and sweet! (after that rambling intro of course - lol!)
It's currently Sunday morning... like literally Sunday, Feb 2nd @ 7am 🫣 I usually create a draft around Wednesday, then add and tweak for a few days, then finalize on Saturday, then add any finishing touches and send on Sunday morning.
That did NOT happen this week! 🤪 The end of the week got away from me BUT it's all good because not only did I get our Bali and Lana Collections launched (and 30 minutes earlier than scheduled 🙌🏼) but we have officially established Mom's new doctors here in Texas and we couldn't be happier with every one of them!
I hope you ended January strong, but if not... no-freaking-worries! You have permission to restart the year NOW and you'll be just fine.
Again...Happy Sunday! Let's hop in 🖤

I thought I'd share my "end of the week" planner spread. I don't usually post these but we're all friends here 🥰
Here is exactly my process: Each Sunday, I do my initial set up.
1) Decide which layout I want for the week. (I use the time blocking inserts)
2) Either the night before OR the morning of... I'll map out my day
3) This week I'm separating my columns to add space for "daily highlights" and at the end of the night, I'll add in something special that happened that day or a gratitude moment.
So here's what I want to say... by the end of the week, my planner looks BUSY! It kinda looks a mess and can be overwhelming to those who didn't "live it", right? BUT to me, it's beautiful 😍 At the end of the week, I love to see a full weekly spread with all my handwriting and notes. And of course, some weeks are busier than others. And a lot of the time, the weekends tend to have a lot more white space than my week days.
The photo above shows my spread after a busy week AND the photo below is how my spread looks at the beginning of the week. It's a process. And I love both the promise of a new week and all the blank space for amazing things to happen, but I equally love looking at my weekly spread after a productive and busy week too!

I am proof that once you get started, momentum builds and before you know it... BOOM 💥 task complete! ☑️
I LOVE writing these newsletters! And I hope you're enjoying them too! I'd love feedback if you have a moment... hit reply and let me know what you'd like to see, section ideas, etc! I'm always open for suggestions 📥
SIDE NOTE: I'm at 92% finished with Onyx Storm... this book is LONNNNG 📖 but I'm LOVING IT! No more spoilers for this girl! I unrealistically thought I'd finish it in 2 days... it's been almost 2 weeks 😅 But we will finish today for sure!

This week is gonna be a GREAT WEEK for all of us... I can feel it!
My project for the week (and my Thursday YouTube video over on Charlani Everyday 🎬) will be a fridge reset! I've got some new "goodies" for organization and cannot wait to dive in. Ever since we got a new fridge, it's been a mess and needs an absolute overhaul. For whatever reason, I just can't get the organization right (it's a different layout, shelving heights are different, and the door bins are smaller) so what worked in my old fridge, doesn't flow the same in the new one. So we've got to figure it out!
I've decided that February is the month to tackle all the kitchen areas!
- fridge organization
- pantry clean out (we're donating SO MANY THINGS!)
- drawer and cupboard declutter
- we might remove some cabinet doors and add glass (still undecided)
- and paint might be involved (think black island)
Happy Sunday, Happy February, Happy New Month, Happy New Week!
